A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for James Rhuel Burgess, 82, will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Shane Britt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Burgess died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1938, in Morgan County to James Rufus Burgess and Linnie Legg Burgess. He was the owner and operator of Burgess Auto Detailing for 15 years, prior to his passing. He knew his craft and took pride in his work. He was a member of the Sanctuary Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers: Phillip Burgess and Leon Burgess.
