James Raymond Twitty, Sr. passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the age of 71. His visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dwight Rivers officiating. Burial will be in Maud Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas Twitty and James Twitty, Sr.; daughter, Linda Swinney; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
