James R. “PeeWee” Brown, Sr., age 79, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery. Bro. Randall Tice to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Mr. Brown was born on April 4, 1942 in Vernon, AL to the late Burlie Brown and the late Della Black. He attended school in Beaverton and Sulligent. He worked in the logging business and enjoyed hunting and loved music. He was a member of Love Joy Freewill Baptist Church.
