James R. Bromley – Obituary

James R. Bromley, 83, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017. James was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Beatrice L. Bromley, and a son, James E. Bromley.

A native of Wayne County, Tennessee, James was a parts manager for several car dealerships in the Tri-city area until he retired. Since that time, he enjoyed working in his garden and was known for the neatest yard in his neighborhood. James centered his life around his family and was an avid Auburn Football Fan.

He is survived by two children; Brenda Slater (John), Charles Bromley (Lucille); five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Railroad Cemetery, near Iron City, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., tomorrow, March 20, 2017 at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alabama Cancer Society.
