James “Pig” Howard, 82, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Higgins Cemetery.
