Mr. James “Pete” Nixon, 88, passed away on January 15, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1930, in Morgan County to Authur Hayden Nixon and Maudie Riethmaier Nixon. He was employed as an Electronic Technician for Redstone Arsenal prior to his retirement and served for six years with the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Preceding him in death were his parents and two sons: David and Steven Nixon.
Family members will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.
