James Paulk Murphy, Jr.
was born on July 3, 1951 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late James Paulk Murphy, Sr. and Julia Pauline Duren Murphy.
James worked in maintenance at Praxis and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He departed this life on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 21 days.
James is survived by one sister, Deborah Jean Thompson of Stantonville, Tennessee and one brother, Charlie Murphy and his wife Bonnie of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant brother.
