James Paul Crafton, age 79 of the Peytonsville Community passed away April 28, 2018. Born in Williamson County, TN to the late Thomas & Gladys Crafton. He was retired from Tennessee Excavating. Preceded in death by brother, Lewis Crafton. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Clark Crafton; daughter, Diane (Gary) Smartt; grandchildren, Josh (Loraine) Smartt and Melia Hensley; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Hensley; sisters, Margaret (John) McCord and Betty (Bobby) Turnage; sister in-law, Lucille Crafton; beloved dog, Dusty and many other loving family members. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Scott Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Crutcher and Doug Tomlin. Memorials may be made to the Peytonsville Church of Christ.
