James Parker Riley, age 68 of Winchester, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1953 in Franklin County to the late William Murrell Riley and Rosemary Harris Riley. He retired from the US Air Force, was a member of the National Guard and had been employed as a machinist at UTC Aerospace and Wilton. In his spare time, he enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, riding motorcycles, watching his grandchildren play ball and sitting on his front porch. James will be remembered as a hard worker who always provided for his family and enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by his children, Jason (Kim) Riley of Huntland, Tom (Angie) Riley of Winchester and James (Jessica) Riley of Huntland; grandchildren, Kami, Jacey, Tatum, Maddux, Carson, Layla, and one grandchild on the way; siblings, Shawn Horton of Broadview Community, Becky Riley of Winchester and Larry (Pam) Riley of Beechgrove and a host of nieces and nephews.
