James Owen “Lil Odie” Hines, age 57, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center.
“Lil Odie” loved building model cars and tinkering with anything. He loved toys, a hobby he never outgrew. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Russellville. The family encourages his friends to come casual and share his memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Odie & Ruby Hines; and sisters, Brenda Hines and Linda Hines Prince.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Laci Valdez (husband, Jay); son, Eric Hines (wife, Chree); grandchildren, Jaci Valdez, Aubree Valdez, Rowdy Hines, Sadie Belle Hines, Sophie Hines; sister, Patty Hines Jackson (husband, Sidney); brother, Harold Hines (wife, Valerie); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
