Funeral Service for James Ottis Sweatmon Jr., 83, of Cullman will be 11am, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 5:30pm – 8:00pm, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The Interment will be in the Holly Pond Cemetery. Brother Malcolm Carter, II will officiate the service.

Mr. Sweatmon was born November, 22, 1937 to James Ottis Sr. & Hester Gorham Sweatmon. He passed from this life August 4, 2021 at the Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his Dad, James Ottis Sweatmon, Sr.; Mom, Hester Gorham Sweatmon; Brother, Edward Sweatmon; Sisters, Lavonda Blackwell and Jeanette Estes; Grnd son, Justin Nuss; Great Granddaughter, Preslee Gail Brand; Great Grandson Tucker Joseph Mitchell.
He is survived by Martha Smith (Wife); KIDS, Donna Osborne (Jim), Joan Blakemore, Glenda Bates (Randy), Sheila Nuss (Greg), Lynn Sweatmon (Janet), Anzolette Mitchell, Jamesina Femiano (Mike), James Lansford (Samantha), Sandy Lansford; 16 Grandkids and 30 Greatkids Grandkids; Sisters, Fay Owen and Gaye Cannington.
