James Orby “Jimmy” Gentle, age 77, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday July 28, 2022. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in the Dime Community.
His visitation will be Saturday July 30, 2022 from 12:00Noon – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Chris Sherill officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Reba F. Loveless Gentle; daughters, Tracie L. Davis, her husband Ernie and Lisa A. Gravley; brothers, Tommy Gentle, his wife Linda, Johnny Gentle his wife Brenda and Ronald Gentle, his wife Melinda; grandchildren, Breanne Gravley, Devan Gravley and Emma Gravley; a host of family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Orby and Lois Beatrice Gentle.
