James Olen Moore, aged 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at New Albany Health and Rehab. He was born on February 6, 1945, in Booneville, MS to Olen and Elizabeth Fitzsimmons Moore. He was a devoted grandfather who cherished spending time with his grandchildren. James also had a passion for hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gail, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage until her passing in 2015.
He is survived by his daughters Tonya Victory and Darlene Moore, his son, Michael Moore, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Moore, and his parents.
No public services will be held.
