James Noel “Jim” Grant, age 75, Haleyville, AL. passed away Monday October 2, 2017.
He was born November 21, 1941 to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Grant. He was a member of the Haleyville First Baptist Church. He was a Viet Nam Veteran.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10-11:30 am at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville , where the service will be held at 11:30. Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Nathan Carroll will officiate.
Mr. Grant is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Grant; brothers, David (Patti) Grant, Mack (Brenda) Grant, and Dennis Grant, all of Ripley, MS. ; sisters, Charlotte McCord of Tupelo, MS. and Mary (J.L.) Street of Ripley, MS. ; a host of nieces and nephews, and special dog “Sam”.
He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Grant and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Barry Raley, Bob Kitchen, W.S. Hess, Harold Painter, and Harold Rhodes.
