James Noel Hill Jr.
Mr. Hill, 67, of Guntersville died Saturday at his residence with his family by his side. He was a member of the Alabama Association of Professional Land Surveyors and also Board President of the River Bend Condo Association. He was a native of Pritchard, Alabama and graduated from Vigor High School. He graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1972 with a BA in Art. Mr. Hill worked for Volkert and Associates, GW Jones and Sons for 12 years and Reed Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents James Noel Hill Sr. and Marguerite Hamilton Hill and one sister Vera Lucas.
He is survived by his wife Donna Hill; two daughters- Laura Taylor Swindler(Ralph Allen) and Sarah Katherine Stanford(Christian); step son Jamie Eric Pike(Heather); two brothers Howard Hill(Pat) and Hamilton Hill(Gwen); four grandchildren Reagan Noelle Swindler, Morgan Taylor Swindler, Avalon Erin Stanford and Emily Grace Pike; nephews- Howard Hill Jr. and James Hill.
The Graveside Service will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saraland, Al. with Rev. Dwaine Harper officiating. The Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm till 8pm at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville, Al. In lieu of flowers donations may be to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research at www.lustgarten.org.
