James Noah “Jim” Bennefield Jr., 46 of Cullman Alabama, died Tuesday – April 19, 2016 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Jim was born in Marshall County Alabama on December 12, 1969 to James Noah Bennefield Sr. & Barbara Lucille Ryan Hinebaugh. He moved to Cullman from the Hulaco – Ryan Community in 1992. Jim was a 1988 graduate of Hanceville High School. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a commercial truck driver. He was married to Benita Kay Baugher Bennefield.
He is survived by his wife: Benita Bennefield; parents: James Noah “Jimmy” Bennefield, Sr. (Shirley) and Barbara R. Hinebaugh (David); one son: Austin Micah Bennefield (Amber); one daughter: AdaLine Joy Bennefield; one grandchild: Natalie Grace Bennefield; stepsons: Blake Ashley (Nicole) and Joey Ashley; sisters: Gina Bennefield Ryder (John); grandfather: Garvey Bennefield and two nephews: Nathan Ryder and Thomas Ryder.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday – April 24, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother Johnny Wayne Bennefield officiating. Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Bennefield, Greg Sandlin, Nathan Ryder, Thomas Ryder, Blake Ashley and Justin Brady.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday – April 23, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
