James Neal Stephens, age 76 of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn J. Stephens; son James Paul Stephens (Julie); three brothers Marlin Stephens (Virginia), William Stephens (Kathryn), and Joe Stephens (Linda); one sister LaJune S. Brown; four grandchildren J.P. Stephens, Julian Thomas Stephens, Mary Margaret Stephens, and Nealson Joseph Stephens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister Karen Nelson; his parents Clifford and Retha Stephens, and his first wife Heloise Hardwick Stephens.
Mr. Stephens was a native of Mason Hill, TN and a resident of Madison County since 1976. He retired from McQuinn and Estep Construction Company and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
The family will recieve friends on Tues., Dec. 3, 2019, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church followed by the Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Dr. Blair Waddell and Rev. Brian Milby. Graveside service will be private.
