Reverend James Neal Fossett, age 85 of Guntersville, Alabama passed away to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, with his loving wife by his side.
He was a businessman, a community servant, and a pastor to many for over forty years.
Neal is survived by his loving wife of sixty seven years, Joann Moon Fossett; sons, Rick Fossett (Melissa), Larry Fossett (Wendy), Blake Fossett (Christie); daughters, Faith Fletcher (Justin), Shelby Fossett; grandchildren, Jamie Lang (Robert), Matthew Crabtree, Justin Crabtree (Sarah), Kelsia King, Steven Fossett, Justin Fossett (Shelby), Beau Fletcher, Gracie Fletcher; five great grandchildren; sisters, Jimmie Grimes, Bettye Street; and sister in laws, Deborah Moon, and Paulette Fossett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Corene Fossett; and brother, Billy Fossett.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Happy Home Baptist Church with Bro. Westley Kirby and Bro. Jerry Burgett officiating. Burial will follow in the Happy Home Cemetery. Pallbearers are nephews, Ronnie Grimes, Keith Fossett, Kenny Fossett, Kip Fossett, Rodney Richardson, and grandson Beau Fletcher. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
