James Monroe Hayes, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of the Ramah Community and owner of Robert Hayes & Son. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg, VFW Post 1618, and American Legion Post 146. Mr. Hayes served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Arnold and Zella New Hayes; two brothers, Ogle S. Hayes and Hewitte Hayes; and one sister, Lila Davidson.
