Mr. James “Mike” Stanfill, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 in Jackson. He was born December 26, 1951 in Reagan to the late James G. “Pug” Stanfill and Tennie B. Clenney Stanfill. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a logger, and loved to tell stories. He loved his family dearly. Survivors include his two sons, Mitch Stanfill (Kristie) and Randy Stanfill; two daughters, Ginger Ivey (Jon) and Candi Stanfill; three brothers, Eddie Stanfill (Barbara), Roy Stanfill (Ann), and Harold Stanfill (Sheryl); nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 11 AM – 9 PM and on Saturday, 10 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
