James Michael “Jimmy” Pack, age 65 of Athens passed away on Friday, November 18 at his residence. Mr. Pack was born March 29, 1951 in Limestone County to William Thomas and Mary Louise Gee Pack.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Pack, and sisters, Brenda Defoe, and Carolyn Neely.
Mr. Pack is survived by his wife, Polly Coffman Pack; daughter Karen Russell and husband Greg; three grandchildren, Braeden Russell, Ashley Russell, Makayla Russell; one great-grandchild, Jazlynn Russell; brothers, Anthony Pack and wife Charlotte, Larry Pack and wife Cathy, Thomas “Tinker” Pack and wife Jessica, and Greg Pack and wife Amanda and sisters, Linda Rouse and Marie Taymon and husband Robbie.
Services for Mr. Pack will be Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Greg Patrick officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 at the chapel. Burial will be in Lebanon Community Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tony Pack, John Pack, Logan Stewart, James Coffman, Mark Prestridge, and Matt Creasy. Honorary pallbearers are Braeden Russell, Johnta Yarbrough, Ta’Marr Yarbrough, Allen Craig, Jimmy Defoe, and Billy Neely.
Mr. Pack was a member of Blackburn Road Baptist Church, and he enjoyed taking care of his horses, and working on cars.
