James Michael Harris was born January 31, 1959 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late James Dee and Rebecca Joyce Morris Harris.He was united in marriage to Linda Morgan on December 19, 1978.
Mr. Harris departed this life on July 25, 2018 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 59 Years, 5 Months, 25 Days.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Morgan) Harris of Collinwood, TN; two sons, MIchael Wayne Harris of Waynesboro, TN, David Ray Harris of Lutts, TN; a daughter, Joy Lee Ann Harris of Decatur, AL; a brother, Timothy Ray Harris of Mount Pleasant, TN; a sister, Libby Diane Lauderdale of Waynesboro, TN;four grandchildren, Killie Marie Harris, Johnathon Harris, Taylor Wayne Harris and Michael Alexander Harris.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by a brother, David Lee Harris;
Services will be held on FridayJuly 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Collinwood in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Brother Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Lutts Cemetery at Lutts, Tennessee
Pallbearers will include Patrick Dickey,Tim Harris Sr., TIm Harris Jr., Austin Ledlow, Dusty Morgan, Justin Cowan
