James Melvin Wade, Jr.
(December 14, 1943 – June 23, 2013)
Mr. James Melvin Wade, Jr., age 69 of Gurley, died Sunday at a local hospital. James loved his family and enjoyed collecting cookie jars.
He is preceded in death by his father, James M. Wade, Sr. and sister-Faye Gordon
Mr. Wade is survived by his loving wife, Paulette Morgan Wade, son, John Roy Wade, step-daughter, Karen Toloson, mother, Vivian Wade, sister Sue Kuhlow, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, & friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends, Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in Spry’s Chapel with Pastor Benny Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to the local humane society.
