James Maurice “Jim” Morris, age 77 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at New Flatwoods Cemetery (Liberty Grove Primitive Baptist Church). Bill Feltman will officiate.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his Parents-Dillon and Easley Gibson and Elizabeth Thrift; Brothers-Sonny, Mike, Sherman and James (Rat).
He is survived by his Wife-Doris Morris of Jasper; Daughter-Misty Nolf of Jasper; Sons-John Michael Sargeant and Bobby David Morris of Jasper; Sister-Kay Groden of Michigan; Brothers-Donald Thrift and Charles Douglas Thrift; 8 Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Sargeant, Marty Nix, Bobby Nolf, Bobby Morris, Don Elkins, Keith Kimbrell, Xander Nolf and Kyle Morris
