James Mark Kirkley, 69, Passed away Tuesday April 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Mark was born October 12, 1954, to Dr. Harry and Joyce Kirkley.
He attended Auburn University Mark worked at Johnson Lumber Company for the past 16 years.
Mark loved Auburn football and basketball. He also loved music and mustangs. But his pride and joy were his grandkids.
Mark is a member of First Baptist Church Guntersville.
Mark is survived by his wife: Gina Shaver Kirkley, Daughter Marcie (Dan) Gordon, Grandsons: Roman Bright and Memphis Bright and Granddaughter: Lucy Gordon.
Visitation will be Saturday May 4, 2024, from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Service Immediately following at First Baptist Church Guntersville.
Honorary Pallbearers are Alfred Allen, Donald Perkins, Lee Ward, Phil Shaver, Michael Huynh, Randy McClendon Shane Nelson, and Shannon Walls.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Because of Mark’s love for Mustangs, his ashes will be delivered to the church in His Ford Mustang escorted by The Crowd Chasers of North Alabama.
