James Marion Hodges, age 84 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born December 28, 1934 to Elbert E. Hodges and Evvie Boyd Hodges.
Funeral services for Mr. Hodges will be held Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rusty Lincoln officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
He was a Navy Veteran.
He is survived by is sons, Mike Hodges and Steve Garner; sister, Doris Harper; grandchildren, Benjamin S. Garner, William E. Garner, Kandice M. Dement, Elizabeth A. Berry and Kayla M. Hodges; 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mike Hodges, Steve Garner, Eric Garner, Mike Thomas, Andy Todd and Wade Mattox.
