James Marcus “Jimmy” Lynch – Obituary

DENNIS, MS. – James Marcus “Jimmy” Lynch, 51, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Red Bay Hospital. He was born May 5, 1961. Jimmy, affectionately known as “Big Foot” to everyone who knew him, worked as a mechanic serving the Belmont and Dennis areas for the past 15 years. He was an avid deer hunter, gardener, and NASCAR fan. To Jimmy, there was nothing better than to hear a pack of beagles in hot pursuit of a monster whitetail.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Ms. with Bro. Ben Young officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife –Beverly Lynch, Dennis, Ms.; a son –Chris Lynch (Adrain) Belmont, Ms.; three grandchildren-  Gavin & Garrett, 8, and Mariam Lynch, 3; one brother-William Lynch (Melinda) Dennis, Ms.; one sister – Carol Kent (Larry) Golden, Ms.; father & mother-in-law – Duncan and Mary Lee Powers; step-children – Jeremy Conley, Russell Henson and Danielle Henson; step-grandchildren – Marissa Henson and Lilly Eweing and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Lynch and his brother, Donnie Lynch.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Lynch, Ray Lynch, Adam Lynch, Randy Ruple, Danny Smith, and Billy Rogers.  Honorary pallbearers  will be David Lynch, Michael Rogers and Russell Henson.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms.
