James Manuel Riddle, age 70, of Tuscumbia, passed away October 5, 2021. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 10, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tommy Crowden officiating. Burial will be at Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Manuel was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Connie Riddle; parents, Herman and Annie Riddle; brothers, Johnny, Jimmy and David Riddle; and sisters, Shirley Mae Riddle and Mary Barnett. Riddle
Survivors include her children, Jay Riddle (Alice) and Vicky McAnally (Chris); grandchildren, Hank McAnally, Shayla Smith and JJ Riddle; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kelton, Jason, Kamryn, Everleigh, Averie, Avianna, and Dawson; and sisters, Liz Cranfield (Russell) and Diane Wilbanks.
Manuel was a very hard worker. He loved having a good time and making people laugh. Above all, though, he was a family man whose first love was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be JJ Riddle, Bryson Smith, Matt McDonald, D.J. Fisher, Michael Aday and Tom Martin.
