James Madison “Red” Quinn, age 85, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015. Born on Dec. 29, 1929. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood. Keith Davis is officiating.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, a Teamster Local 402, and worked at Walker Lumber Company for 16 years. He retired from TVA Browns Ferry.
Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by parents, William and Flora Quinn; sisters, Lennie Peden and Lydia Mae Coker; and brother, Robert Quinn.
Survivors are wife of 58 years, Betty Quinn, of Sheffield, Alabama; son, James E Quinn (Shelia Quinn), of Tuscumbia, Alabama; sister, Lassie Kennemur, of Falkville, Alabama; granddaughter, Mandy Quinn; and many nieces and nephews.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
