James M. Marks, age 68, of Five Points, TN passed away Thursday, May 02, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a former welder at Evers Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest James and Minnie Virginia Coker Marks; one son, Kent Marks; one daughter, Lisa Marks; one brother, Jimmy Lee Marks; and one sister, Betty Elizabeth Fain.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, May 04, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:30 PM Sunday, May 05, 2013, with Ricky Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Bishop Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. The family requests that memorials be made to the James M. Marks Memorial Fund at First Volunteer Bank in Lawrenceburg, TN.
