James Lynn McDowell, 79, of St. Louis, MO died on Monday, May 16, 2022. Lynn was born on November 1, 1942 to the late Carl McDowell and Evelyn Burkhalter McDowell. He was a member of All Saints of North American Antiochian Orthodox Church. Lynn was a devoted husband, brother, father and Gran Gran. Lynn is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Templeton McDowell. Lynn is survived by his loving son Cary Martin McDowell, daughter-in-law Holly McDowell, granddaughter Mary Clare McDowell of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves behind two brothers, Wayne McDowell and Phil McDowell, both of Franklin, TN.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at All Saints of North America, 2550 Schuetz Road, Maryland Heights on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Franklin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winchester, TN on Friday at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Tee of Central Arkansas, 1 First Tee Way, Little Rock, AR 72204, firstteecentralarkansas.org. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, at the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
