A private family funeral service for James Lloyd McCulloch, 46, of Decatur was held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Parkway Funeral Home with his uncle John Thomas Norris, of Hoover officiating. Burial was in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Mr. McCulloch, who died Monday, March 2, 2015, was born September 18, 1968, in Morgan County to Lloyd Stamps McCulloch and Gail Norris McCulloch. He retired from law enforcement where he received a Commendation from Alabama House of Representatives for Outstanding Heroism. He was a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Gail McCulloch, of Decatur; a daughter, Kaetlin Amelia McCulloch, of Hartselle; two sisters, Dr. Beth McCulloch Vinson (Keith), of Moulton and Michelle McCulloch Manning (Dave), of Rome, New York; dearly loved nieces and nephews; and special uncles, Clyde Dean Wehunt, of Huntsville, Texas, Jack Stamps (Kenda), of Chattanooga, Tennesee, and Eddie Stamps, of Orlando, Florida.
Pallbearers were family members.
