James Lloyd Jones, 71 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, November 1, 1942 in Toney, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Jones and the late Mary McPherson Jones. He was a member of Cash Point Baptist Church. He loved horses, fishing, hunting, Vanderbilt Basketball and football, and the TN Lady Vols.
Surviving are his wife: Relura Hasting Jones of Ardmore, TN, daughters, Regina (Tony) Gardner of Chicago, IL and Dede Jones Hodges of Ardmore, TN, brother, William S. Jones of Ardmore, TN, sisters, Linda (Raymond “Frog”) McLemore of Ardmore, AL and Gwyn (Roger) Patterson of Hazel Green, AL; Granddaughter: Morgan (Justin) Harmon, great-grandchildren: Madison Thigpen, Walker Thigpen, and Grayson Harmon, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Derrick Moose and Wayne Jeans officiating. Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, TN.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
