James Lindsey ” Bo “ Vinson, 75 of Muscle Shoals, passed away April 19, 2014
A memorial visitation will be Wednesday April 23, from 6-7:30 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with services to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Dimple Curtis Vinson and Step-brother, Greg Vinson
Survivors include his wife, Paulette Vinson
Son, Donnie Vinson (Barbara)
Daughters, Melanie Solis (Andy) and Angie Stanton (Paul)
Step-sons, Matthew Powers and Jason Powers.
2 half brothers, Drew and Dean Vinson
Eight grandchildren, Jacques, Rachel, Jessica, Katie, Joe, Erin, Danie and Jack
Two step-grandchildren, Ellie Jae and Zac.
Mr. Vinson was a member of the Pipefitters Local #760, where he taught classes on welding. He taught Auto Cad drawing at North West Shoals. He was scheduled to graduate in the fall with a Master Gardening Certificate and he was a member of the Democratic Party.

Our DNA report shows that Bo Vinson
was related to Charles Paul McDaniel(nee Paul
O’Conners). Paul was given from Mike O’conners to the McDaniel family in 1929 when he was
3 years old. This took place in Harlingen, Texas. If this fits any stories in your family we
would like to hear from you.
