On Oct. 3, James Lewis Roberts went home to heaven. He was 81 years old born in Coffeeville, Alabama, to Herbert and Alberta Roberts. He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Chancey Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Roberts; their combined children, son, Jim Roberts and wife, Tammy, daughter, Wanda Rolands and husband, Mike, daughter, Cindy Praytor and husband, Tommy, daughter, Debbie Charlton, daughter, Donna Beck and husband, Jim, daughter, Darla Price, and daughter, Cathy Kasmeier and husband, Tony; and two sisters, Jean Aubey and Hixanne Gaston. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday Oct. 6, 2015, at Moulton Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and a funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Danny Pettus officiating and burial in Moulton Memory Gardens. Elliott Brown-Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
