James Lellon Key, age 85, of Oakman, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Odom Memorial Cemetery. Jerome Key and Shannon Busby will officiate.
Mr. Key was preceded in death by his Parents-Leacy and Greely Key; Brothers-Harvey Wayne Key, Vestor (Millie) Key, Seagle (Nevada) Key, Arvie (Marie) Key, Carlos (Mae) Key and Joe (Vivian) Key; Sisters-Vertie Lee (Rubin) Thompson, Zora (Tom) Turner, Geniva Cordell, Jimmie (Gene) Nelson and Vivian (Guin) Karrah.
He is survived by his Wife-Betty Key of Oakman; Daughter-Phyllis Burton (Roger Dale); Son-Gregory Key (Renee); Grandchildren-Candace (Paul) Kacharos, Steven (Jasmine) Burton, Logan (Makayla) Key and Lensey Key; Great Grandchildren-Chloe and Case Kacharos, Weston Burton, Laynie Goodwin and Madi Tidwell; Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Adam Groves, Allan James, Randy James, Steven Burton, Paul Kacharos and Benny Joe Key.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Weston Burton, Logan Key and Case Kacharos.
