James Lavone Torbert, 80, of Cullman, passed from this life on March 6, 2022 at his residence. He was born April, 23, 1941 to Emmett & Velma Vest Torbert. No services are planned at this time for Mr. Torbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by three brothers, Dilmon, Randy, & Rick Torbert.
Mr. Torbert is survived by his partner, Melissa Cole; son, Mike (Sherry) Torbert; daughter, Sharon (Richard) Sharpe; several brothers and sisters; nieces, Connie Jackson, Becky Anderson, Amie Shipp; nephew, Delane Torbert; and a host of family and friends.
