James Larry Hines, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 with his wife, son and friend at his bedside, at NHC Scott under their kind care along with Compassus.
He was a native of Maury County, retired from Union Carbide, and had worked for Lynch’s Tractor & Equipment. Larry was blessed with a wonderful church family at Campbellsville Church of Christ, pastored by Theodore Durham and his wife Penny. He also enjoyed learning from New Prospect Church of Christ Pastor Jeff Smith at Wednesday night services. He was a kind and generous man who had a zest for living. He loved to hunt, fish, and restore old trucks and tractors. He leaves behind many loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John Henry and Minnie Irene (Garner); and sister: Reba Carpenter (Liburn).
He is survived by his wife: Sharon (Hammond) Myrick Hines; one son: Ryan Hines; grandson: Christoper – his mom: Brook Edmonds; step-son: Ethan Myrick (Melissa); granddaughter: Morgan Jane & Aubrey Myrick; brother: Jerry (Janet); sister: Judy (Bill) Overbey.
Graveside Service Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Freemon Cemetery.
Loretto Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
