James L. Turman, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Countrywood Manor in Mantachie. He was born December 3, 1929 to the late David Henry Turman and the late Gracie Lucile ShawTurman in Houston, Mississippi. He retired from the trucking industry after many years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon. He enjoyed going to church, working, and spending time with his family and friends .

Survivors include his wife of 66 tears, Noreen Turman of Fulton, Daughter, Shelley (Daniel) Crabtree of Ridgecrest, CA, Grandchildren, April (Brian) Hayman of Ridgecrest, CA, Jennifer (Carmelo) Torres of Gerber, CA, great grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, William, Viviana, Angelia, two Brothers, Buster and Otis Turman of Fulton, Sister, Mary Ruth (Bill) Whitley of Booneville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four Brothers, Ed, Bill, Frank, Oscar, and three Sisters, Callie, Marlene, Merle Dean.

Pallbearers will be Otis Turman, Mike Winter, Daniel Crabtree, Bill Whitely.
