James L. Sizemore, Tuscumbia, died Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the age of 100. Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia will be assisting the family. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Reggie Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Sizemore, a retired farmer, was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; son, Edward; parents, Rebecca and Claude Sizemore; five brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his son, Gary Sizemore and wife, Margaret; daughters, Emma Jean Cooley Kimbrough and Peggy Willich and husband, George; grandchildren, Michael Cooley and wife, Ansley; Carmel Lawhorn and husband, Wayne; Kendra Wallace and husband, Scott; Matt Willich; and Laurie Lane and husband, Kevin; and great-grandchildren, Lauren and Wesley Wallace; Ross, Lucas, and Delilah Cooley; Emma Grace and Davis Lane. He is also survived by his brother, Herschel Sizemore, and sister, Gazell Hodges.
Pallbearers will be members of Mr. Sizemore’s family.
