James Hubbard James L. Hubbard, 99, of Lexington, AL, passed away on July 22, 2026, at Floyd E. Tut State Veteran’s Home. James was retired from Reynold’s Aluminum Company and also worked as a woodworker. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. He especially loved woodworking, carving, and making small wood animals for his grandchildren. James was a native of Iuka, Mississippi. James is survived by: Wife: Shirley Burns Hubbard Sons: Anthony Hubbard (Renée) & Brian Hubbard (Shari) Daughter: Carolyn Jean (Jerry) Sister: Dorothy Rutland Stepdaughters: Karen Williams (James), Sharon Williams, & Tammie Williams (Chris) (10) Grandchildren & (12) Great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by: Parents: Allen Hubbard & Bessie Wright Hubbard Daughter: Susan Hubbard Vetter Sister: Faye Nunley Grandson: Paul Dodson Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Austin Lane officiating. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery.
