Funeral service for James Kenneth Standridge, 76, will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Salter and Rev. Renee Garlen officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Standridge died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born April 17, 1940, in Morgan County to Julius L. Standridge and Ruby Lee (Willliams) Standridge. He was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Monsanto after 33 years of service as a control room operator and in production. He also served four years U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Jane Oxford, and one brother: Jerry Standridge.
