James Kenneth Carruth – Obituary

James Kenneth Carruth was born March 16, 1933 to Holms and Louella Bailey Carruth. He passed away March 24, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 85. He was a retired self employed auto mechanic and had served in the Army National Guard 107th Transportation Trucking Co during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Littleville United Methodist Church.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 12 – 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Greg Reynolds and Holly Woodall officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mark and Kole Farris, Justin, Camden, Tyden Steele and Teddy Morgan.

He is survived by his wife , Willie Mae Feltmon Carruth; children, Scott (Linda )Carruth, Annette Carruth, Paul ( Melanie) Carruth, Jackie Carruth (Alan Carrth), Dennis (Pam)Steele, Doug (Myra) Steele; sister, June Densmore; grandchildren, Mellisa Madden, Alicia Carruth, Christopher Carruth, Lacy Carruth, Matthew and Jason Carruth, Justin (Jessica) Steele, Jerrod Steele, Amber (Mark) Farris; great grandchildren,Camden and Tyden Steele, Ben and Jett Steele, Kole and Presley Farris; special brother in law, William Feltmon.

Preceded in death by, parents, Holms P. and Louella Carruth; sons, James K. Kenneth, Jr. and Alan B. Carruth; brother Frank Carruth.
