James Keith Lawhorn James Keith Lawhorn of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Saturday morning, August 16th, 2025, at Southern Tennessee Regional Lawrenceburg. He was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on August 24th, 1963 and was 61 years old.
Born and raised in Giles County, Keith was a proud graduate of Giles County High School. He went on to earn an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Calhoun Community College, a field that suited his love of technology and gadgets. Keith spent much of his career as a dedicated truck driver and drove for Southeast Carrier for about 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed music, photography, genealogy research, and his ever-growing collection of comic books—especially anything related to Superman, his favorite hero. Keith was also a huge fan of syfy with Star-trek being one of his favorites of all time.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home.
The burial will be in the Wright Cemetery.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, James Monroe Lawhorn, grandparents, William Rufus Lawhorn and Minnie Pearl Lawhorn, grandparents, Charlie and Lucille Bevels, and Uncle, Dwight Bevels.
He is survived by,
His mother, Linda Lawhorn of Pulaski, Tennessee
A host of family and friends also survives.
