Funeral Service for James “Johnny” Johns, 89 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 6:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson and Bro. Tim McCormick officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00PM.-4:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Johns was born November 13, 1936 in Talladega, AL to Marvin To Johns and Beatric Jones Johns. He passed away Saturday January 24, 2026 at his residence. He served in the United States Air Force as a Mechanic and worked on Air Force 1. He Followed Jesus and attended Tunsel Road Baptist Church. James enjoyed coon hunting, reading his Bible and working in his yard. He drove a School Bus for Hartselle City School System. James was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, JoAnn Johns, 2 Daughters, Latitia Vest, Lasonja Pinkston, 2 Sisters, Betty Johns, and Junita Johns.
