James (Joe) Lynn Bolan, age 73, of Decatur, AL. passed away on Tuesday, February 10. 2026. Visitation will be held Monday, February 16. 2026 at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, AL with graveside services to follow at 1:30 at Roselawn Cemetery.
Joe is survived by his brother, Steve (Judy) and sister, Jan Landers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Howell and Edna Burns Bolan of Decatur; brothers, Glenn Bolan, Michael Bolan; and nephew Brayden Bolen. Joe was a proud uncle of several nieces and nephews always interested in their activities and accomplishments.
Joe was a avid Alabama Football fan, enjoyed fishing, golfing, and attending his new found church, Berea Baptist, when his health permitted.
