James “Jimmy” Nathan Roberts, Sr. age 39 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Roberts was born October 19 1978 in Lawrence County, TN to William Earl Roberts and Elizabeth Suzanne Rouse Roberts.
Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Keith Davis officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts loved playing the guitar and music. He was a songwriter and worship leader at Discovery Church and he was an Eagle Scout.
Survived by his wife, Mandy Roberts; three children, Lauren Roberts, Hannah Roberts and Nathan Roberts; parents, Billy and Suzie Roberts; sister, Libby Card and husband, Chris; in-laws, Roger and Nancy Isbill.
