James “Jimmy” LaWayne Hankins

Mr. James “Jimmy” LaWayne Hankins, also known as “Bo” of Arab, Alabama; was called home on the evening of August 26, 2021 at the age of 56.
Mr. Hankins was born on the 9th day of August in 1965 to James Buddy Hankins and the late Willene York Griggs. Mr. Hankins was employed by the Marshall County School system as a bus driver. He also owned Bobo Auctions working as an auctioneer. He enjoyed golfing, yard sales and spending time with his canine companion “Allie”.
Mr. Hankins leaves behind to celebrate his life and legacy; his father James Buddy Hankins; son, Joshua James Hankins (Samantha); brother, Jackie V. Hankins (Dottie); grandchildren, Jaylon Graves and Ember Rose Hankins.
Visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with service to follow with Bro. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will be at Oleander Cemetery in Union Grove, AL.

This news saddens me. Bobo was a great (ex) brother-inlaw. He was funny, kind, giving, and such a bad poker player (lol). He will be missed dearly. My condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers will be with them always. May he rest in peace.
