James “Jimmy” Eugene Smith, 58 of Union Grove, died Saturday July 16, 2016 at Marshall Medical Center North.
He was born January 2, 1958 in Marshall County, Alabama to James Edward Smith and Betty Joy Hill Smith. He worked for Onan in Huntsville for several years.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntsville.
Mr., Smith is survived by his father and step mother: Jim and Darlene Smith; a step son: Adam Henderson; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Sheron D. and john Piazza, Debbie and Billy Wooten, Darlene Boyd, SonJa and Terry Thornberry; nephews: Andy Wooten, Eddie Wooten, Michael Dombrowski; niece: Danielle Dombrowski. He was preceded in death by his mother: Betty Joy Hill Smith.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Family elected cremation.
