James “Jim” Whittle, 79, of Tuscumbia passed away, Wednesday, December 14, 2022. There will be a visitation Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Jim was a lifelong resident of the Shoals and was a retired United States Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was also a business owner and avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Jan Whittle; parents, Roy and Bernice Whittle; and brother, Russell Whittle.
He is survived by his children, Tara Whittle, Scott Whittle (Jerica), and Jillian Whittle Borden (Gary); grandchildren, Scott Whittle, Jr., Alexander Pyle, Grady, Hadley and Asher Borden; brothers, Richard, Donnie, and Steve Whittle, Tommy McAnally; sisters, Linda McAnally and Pat Mitchell.
